Toastess Twin Coffeemaker Review

My husband drinks high octane and I drink decaf coffee. This way we are each able to have a fresh cup of coffee at the same time from the same machine. It is wonderful. There is no wasted coffee and we are both ready for work. Great product!!

Cuisinox Liberta 6 cup Espresso Coffeemaker Review

It’s easy to get a cup of coffee anywhere, but it’s not easy to get a really good cup of coffee. I have done a lot of research before I bought this item and I am very glad I got it. It was not mentioned in the item description so I’ll note it here that this espresso maker is not made in Italy or India like a lot of others sold on Amazon. This one is made in China.

I have to say it’s very beautifully made. It looks like what shown in the picture. It’s very solid and seems that it will last for a long time.

I also wanted to share that I experimented with it a little and learned that the espresso tastes a lot better if I mix in the milk or cream with the water in the bottom base and let the entire liquid mix steam through the coffee ground.

Another note is that no matter how low the level of heat you use to brew is, the entire thing gets pretty hot. If it were having a plastic handle it would have been burned away on my first use. I kind of expected this and am glad the whole thing is made of steel.

I really love this espresso maker and would highly recommend it to anyone who really wants to make a good cup of coffee.

Proctor-Silex 48521 Automatic Drip Coffeemaker Review

This is a simple and inexpensive coffee maker and serves its purpose very well. To my mind the only slight drawback is that over time the hot plate gets rusty from spilled water and begins to look gnarly, with the further result that when you set the pot down on the counter it makes dirty marks you have to sponge up. Too bad the manufacturer didn’t apply some kind of seal to the plate to prevent this. Otherwise an excellent product.

KALORIK PROGRAMMABLE COFFEE MAKER Review

Searched for a Thermal Carafe coffee maker under 0 for quiet some time. Always seem to break glass carafe’s and Brewstations always leak after a while. Saw this coffee maker online at a GREAT price ane jumped on it, and I’m actually really quiet pleased with it!

Makes great coffee, keeps coffee warm for a long time, auto-programable what more do you need.

I did knock off a star for a couple reasons. First off it is NOT a 10 cup coffee maker, yes the description says 10 cup and yes the coffee maker it self says 8 small cups / 12 large cups on the side. However, it does not hold one drop more coffee than my old Black & Decker 8 cup. Secondly the clock only displays military time, not a big deal but I would prefer a 12 hour clock. Would have given 5 stars if it came with a reusable mesh filter though.

A couple notes for anyone thinking about buying this coffee maker. When you first get it, it smells strongly like plastic. I ran a pot of soapy water through it, and several pots of hot water through it until the odor was gone and the coffee has no bad odor or taste (it even says to do this in the manual) be sure to do this yourself before you use it, I believe this is why some reviews complain of a bad taste. Also be aware the manual says NO PART of the coffee maker is dishwasher safe, you are supposed to handwash all pieces.
